To become a Founder, you can sign up online or complete and mail this form. FOUNDER FORM. Founders make a $1,000 pledge commitment, payable over 5 years ($200 a year). Payment can be made monthly, quarterly, or yearly. The pledge can also be made in a 1-time payment.
A Young Founder is age 21-35 years old. The total commitment for a Young Founders is $500 payable over 5 years. Payment can be made monthly, quarterly, or yearly. The pledge can also be made in 1 payment.
A Sustainer is a Founder or Young Founder who has completed their pledge commitment and gives any additional donation(s) within a given year. Sustainers are highlighted in the Founder Brochure.
Yes. The Fund for Women is the perfect way to keep your commitment to others after your death. Please consider FFW in your will.
Yes. This is a special way to honor a loved one – whether it's a daughter, granddaughter, grandmother or mom. And yes, men are Founders too. Don't forget a special grandson, husband, or son.
Yes the Fund for Women is a 501(c)3 – an endowment held at the Delaware Community Foundation. All Founder pledge payment and donations will receive a letter of payment noting your donation and can be used for tax filing. Please follow your accountant's guidelines. If you require a W9 for a payment to be processed from a special fund, please don't hesitate to contact us.
You can make a donation to the Fund for Women "In Honor of" Someone - or - "In Memory of" someone by making a donation (either online or by mail) and sending a note to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
- The full name of the person making the donation and email
- The full name of the person the donation is being made for "In memory of" or "In honor of"
- Tell us if someone should receive a letter of acknowledgement of the gift. If they are not a Fund for Women Founder, please include their address.
- Any other questions, can be directed to the mail above.
