Through collective philanthropy, the Fund for Women invests and advocates to empower women and girls in Delaware to achieve their potential by bringing together our knowledge and passion. As a giving circle of the Delaware Community Foundation which believes that communities are strongest when all people have the opportunity to thrive, the FFW is committed to promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Founders we recruit, the organizations we fund, and the communities we impact.

The Fund for Women is offering a Founder Scholarship that provides an opportunity to become a new FFW Founder and enjoy the benefits of networking with amazing women and helping to empower women and girls in Delaware. Instead of paying the normal investment fee, we ask that you serve on our Grants Committee for two years and bring different diverse perspectives and lived experiences to the grant review process.

Grants Committee members read and score nonprofit applications and participate in the final discussion about which organizations receive funding.

After the two-year commitment, scholarship recipients remain Founders and enjoy the benefits of being part of the Fund for Women community.
